The ground for a divorce is that you must be separated for 2 years and there is no prospect of a reconciliation. You can be living together in the same property but you must be living separate and apart which means not living together as a couple in an intimate and committed relationship. If you are not resident or domiciled in Ireland, you must have lived her 1 year prior to making the application.
